4 Most Important Tools
Duct Tape
Firstly, in the number one position is that shinny looking silver tape stuff... DUCT TAPE. There is at least 2 rolls in each mechanics garage, for a reason! trust me, next time your car needs be taken in for service, look in the garage, 100% of the time you will find it. And now you're probably wondering: Why? Why, is duct tape so good? The answer can be summarized in the words of "duct tape can fix anything." This god like substance, of sticky silver tape can fix little thing like, reattaching the weather seals, to holding on your muffler.
Wrenches
In the number three spot is wrenches. Wrenches are extremely important for taking apart your car and putting it back together. In combination with duct tape and zip ties you will for sure be able to do modifications and repairs. This is probably the only useful thing on this list if you are not a duct tape and zip tie mechanic, but to all of the mechanics who rely on the two most trustworthy object, duct tape and zip ties, keep relying on the things that got you home that night your exhaust fell off.
Zip Ties
Coming in at Number 2 the second most important tool is Zip Ties. These babies can do a lot more thank you think. Trust me 10 of thee suckers are stronger then a bolt and a screw. Your new OEM intake falls off right after you put it on. Screw, the screws, grab your zip ties take ten of those little suckers strap them onto your intake and make sure everything lines up and bam your good for another 20 Km at 140 K/h. Trust me.
An Extra Turbo
YOU NEED SPEED, YOU NEED HP, YOU NEED BOOST! Now, in all seriousness turbos can transform your daily driver, soccer mom sedan, into, a crazy fast race car. This being said, everyone loves the sound of a blowback valve but everyone who has actually built a turbo car know the pain when that turbo explodes and starts smoking. This is why you carry around an extra turbo. Maybe you want to bi-turbo or maybe your bi turbo car has just blown one turbo.
