The BMW-Supra?

Toyota this year, 2021, has released a new SUPRA! This brings a lot of excitement to the JDM community.

Compared to the older supra's, that Toyota has made, this supra takes a much more sleek, high performance, race car look. The wing is very sleek and almost no apparent, moreover, it sits about 3 inches lower than the last production made Supra. In comparison to the the Supra's built pre 2000; those specific models consisted of more of a curvy, boxier look with a big wide wing on the back.

If you guys remember, In the 90s the supra's were created with engines not over 250 hp. This was a gentlemen's agreement across all of Japan. This unspoken agreement was broken in a different way. All the top JDM motorsport companies built really good engines that had the potential to be very fast with a few quick tunes and modification. Toyota this time around has decided that they were lazy and didn't want to build a new engine for the vehicle. Toyota, decided to take BMW in to the project so they could use the B58 engine. This engine is one of BMW top engines right now. The B58 is made for pushing around 2000-3000 LBS. The new Toyota Supra weighs in at less than 2000 LBS. This is a massive weight reduction and the power to weight ratio will show and it will display the absolute pure power of the BMW B58 engine.

All in all this car will be a very cool and exciting car. As well thanks to Toyotas and BMW for bringing back this absolute legendary vehicle
